a last haiku

January 29, 2013 § 1 Comment

scratching
innocent scabs

following ant trails

watching a million arms
push a crumb

into the hole
the mouth

the need
never
acknowledges

that hurt
wounds
desire

umbilical
empirical
tie off

a neat noose
strangles

word we wish to speak
