A Place Of Dreams, A Time For Love
As evening comes
I close my eyes,
then I dift away
to another place and time.
A place of dreams,
a time for love.
It’s where we meet,
where you are mine
On milesof clouds
we walk the skies,
your hand in mine
as we soak in the moonlight.
Two hearts in love,
two bodies touch.
The heavens shake
a new star is born tonight.
As the dawn arrives
I kiss my love,
and vow again
I shall return once more.
To this place of dreams,
to this time for love.
Where hope never dies,
where true love only soars.
A place of dreams
a time for love,
a chance to embrace
my beautiful dove.
To have and to hold,
my heart to you
is forever sold.
Eloquent and beautiful.
It is beautiful, but I can feel some sadness underneath it. I liked it a lot
ah, but the sadness that underpins this poem remains
